Abbhinav Venkat

Hi, I'm Abbhinav, the founder of 123 of AI.

Industry Experience

My prior experience has been with two early-stage Silicon Valley startups in the domains of Virtual Clothing Tryon and E-commerce growth. In addition to my role as an Applied ML Scientist, I have been a part of the 0 to 1 journey of these companies. This has given me tremendous exposure to business development, strategy, marketing, and people management.

Academic Experience

I have extensive experience in 3D Computer Vision. I was part of Stanford's Geometric Processing Lab working on understanding real-world dynamics from videos (with Prof. Leonidas Guibas and Prof. Srinath Sridhar).

Prior to that, I had received my BTech and MS from IIIT-Hyderabad, with my Master's Thesis on Monocular 3D Human Body Reconstruction. During this effort, I published several papers in top-tier ML conferences such as BMVC, ICCV, and ACCV.

I was also fortunate to have received Qualcomm's Innovation Fellowship, felicitated by the Dept. of Science and Tech, Govt. of India for my work during my Masters.

In addition to this, I was fortunate to be invited for several talks on my work at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics (Germany), Stanford University, and the ICVGIP conference.

Bringing my expertise from Machine Learning, Research, and the Startup world together, along with recognizing a significant gap in skilled practitioners in the AI/ML space, I have started 123ofAI to fill this void.
